How do I know which waist size to order?

Our belts are designed so each comfortably fits a range of sizes. To find your size, use a tape measure or length of sting and measure around your waist and across your appliance. (Do not measure over your clothes, the Active Support Belt is meant to be worn against your skin.) Choose the size that corresponds to this waist measurement.

  • 28 – 33 inches: S (small)
  • 34 – 38 inches: M (medium)
  • 39 – 42 inches: L (large)
  • 43- 47 inches: XL (extra large)

 

What size appliance does the Active Support Belt fit?

The Active support belt has a reinforced elastic opening that fits both one or two-piece appliances with a diameter of 2 ¼ to 2 ½ inches. To find out the diameter:

  • For a two-piece pouch system, measure across the circle where the two pieces snap together.
  • For a one-piece system, fold up the sides of the pouch and measure across the circle where the pouch and wafer join.

If our standard size does not accommodate your appliance, please contact us. We are happy to discuss custom orders and if we receive enough requests, we will add your size as a new standard option.

Help! My Active Support Belt doesn’t fit, can I exchange it?

In a word, yes.

If the product you’ve received is not the size you ordered, contact us for instructions to mail your order back and receive the size you originally requested and we will pay the shipping costs.

  • Due to the nature of this product, your Active Support Belt must be returned in the same new, unused, unworn and unwashed condition as it was shipped.
  • Exchanges must be postmarked within fifteen business days of receipt of your order.
  • Contact us to alert us of our error and for the address to ship exchanges.

If you find you’ve ordered the wrong size your belt may be exchanged for a different size but you’ll need to pay the shipping costs. If you believe the sizing instructions were inaccurate or confusing please contact us and let us know so we can improve!

What’s your Return Policy?

If you are not satisfied with our product you may return your order for a refund of your purchase price minus a 10% re-stocking fee. (Please note, purchase price does not include shipping costs.)

A return for refund must meet the following conditions:

  • Due to the nature of this product, your Active Support Belt must be returned new and unworn, unwashed and in the original packaging.
  • Returns must be postmarked within fifteen business days of receipt of your order.
  • Contact us for the address to ship returns (and we would love to know the reason for your return).

 

How do I Clean/ Care for my Active Support Belt?

Your can either hand-wash or machine-wash your Active Support belt. In either case, we recommend:

  • Closing all zippers and fastening all velcro closure.
  • Use warm or cold water.
  • Air-dry or use the delicate/ low setting of your dryer.
  • If you machine wash your Active Support Belt, use a gentle cycle.
  • If you choose to machine wash or dry your Active Support Belt, placing it in a washable pillow case that you can zipper closed or tie shut will help keep it good condition.

 

Do you make Custom Orders?

We are happy to speak with you about custom orders. If you need a different size, color or material, send us your contact information and we’ll contact you for any additional information we need to see if we can provide what you are looking for.  And if you have a suggestion for an improvement or design change, let us know!

When we receive enough of the same requests, we will happily expand our standard product line to include the new sizing, color, material or design options.
